COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is a performance ensemble emphasizing the fundamentals of body and equipment movement through choreographed routines and drill design.  The color guard functions as an auxiliary unit to the marching band in Fall. Performances include marching band activities, parades, games. Second semester teams are reformed for the indoor season, including a Winter guard competition circuit. Evening sectionals will be scheduled. Attendance and punctuality at all rehearsals and performances is required.  Audition clinic will be during the summer or as determined at RHS.
