COURSE DESCRIPTION: Spring semester only- (replaces Marching Band). This is a performance ensemble using modern techniques for marching percussion, keyboards and auxiliary percussion instruments. This activity begins following the marching band season and will have rehearsals before school and evening sectionals will be scheduled. Performances include concerts, competition circuits, and rallies. Attendance and punctuality at all performances and rehearsals is required. Auditions are open to “non-percussionists,” but all students must be in one of the Performance Ensembles (band, orchestra, jazz.)
