CREDIT: 5 - English credits each semester

PREREQUISITE: Sophomore English teacher recommendation and C or higher in English 10 GATE. B or higher in English 10 CP. Approval into the program using AP/Honors screening including overall G.P.A. are combined to determine acceptance.

A-G Pathway: B - English

OTHER INFO: A one-year course. May not be repeated for credit and may not be entered at the semester.

Meets CSU/UC A-G entrance requirements.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: A two-semester course. Meets KHSD graduation requirements and CSU/UC entrance requirements. Passage of the Advanced Placement exam at the end of course will allow college credit upon entering a college or university that accepts AP scores. Acceptance and enrollment into this advanced placement course require a commitment to and completion of the spring advanced placement exam.
