Testing

Academics/Testing

At Ridgeview, students are more than a test score, but we know that high test scores can open doors for students who otherwise would not be given the opportunity.

Below is a list of the testing season for the 2025-2026 school year.

PSAT

Ridgeview is hosting the Practice SAT on October 22, 2026 for eligible sophomores and juniors who would like a taste of what the SAT will be like. The cost of the exam is $18 and can be paid in person at the finance office or online.

AP Testing

In order to register and take AP exams, students must register in AP Classroom.  Please see your individual teachers for the classroom code for EACH AP Class you are enrolled in.

Individual AP Tests cost $99.  Those who qualify for a fee waiver will be charged $20 per exam.  There will be a deposit in the fall due on 10/30 to secure your AP test for the spring.

The AP Testing window will begin on May 4, 2026

CAASPP SBAC State Testing

State testing begins at Ridgeview on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 and concludes on April 17, 2026. All juniors will be taking 5 exams this testing season: SBAC Performance Tasks (PT) in Math and English, SBAC Computer adaptive tests (CATs) in Math and English, and the California Science Test (CAST).
