Statistics AP
Statistics AP is an introductory college statistics course. This course focuses on collecting, organizing, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data. Students design, administer and tabulate results from surveys and experiments. Probability and simulations aid students in constructing models for chance phenomena. To develop effective statistical communication skills, students are required to prepare frequent written and oral analyses of real data. Expect 45 minutes of homework Monday – Friday. Semester grade is based on 75% tests (includes labs and projects), 20% homework, and 10% notebook.
