Good afternoon everyone! Registration is now open for the RHS Athletic Booster Color Run/Walk. This year it will be on Saturday April 28th starting at 8:30AM. It is $20 per person for all staff and students. This year you will receive a RHS Color Run T-shirt with your entry fee! We are hoping that we can make this a friendly competition by encouraging your department to get a team together. There will be a trophy given to the 1st place staff team that will be on proud display on campus. A team is a minimum of 4 people. Right now, registration will run through my room, which is in room 902. You can pay with cash or check made out to RHS Athletic Boosters. If you would rather pay by card, you can register online at https://runsignup.com/Race/CA/Bakersfield/RidgeviewHighSchool5KColorWalkRun. The online site is $25 plus a processing fee of $2.50. But you will still get your t-shirt. Registration ends April 6th at school and online so register early.
If you are not a runner but would like to volunteer to help, please email me or call me and I will give you your options.
If you are a coach or a club advisor: You have an opportunity to sell food items at the Color Run and make some cash! Please see Mr. Valadez for more info. I would also encourage your team/club to get a team together! There will be a trophy given to the first place student team as well that will be displayed. Please talk with your kids! We really want this event to go well. If you have students who want to help at the run, they can receive community service credit. Have them see me for more information.
