Mr. Clippinger

I am very proud to be Ridgeview High School's Director of Choirs. My most fond memory from high school was being a part of the choral music program. I attended Carlsbad High School, and I took part in the school's show choir for all four years and the school's Chamber Singers for two years. The festivals, competitions, trips, and other various performance opportunities are things that I will never forget!

After high school, I attended the California State University Fullerton School of Music. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and my minor in Child and Adolescent Development in 2014, and I earned my single subject teaching credential in 2015. During my time at CSU Fullerton, I had the opportunity to perform with such artists as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, John Williams, and Andrea Bocelli.

Outside of teaching, I am the Assistant Director of the Bakersfield Master Chorale, and I sing bass in Bakersfield's Meridian Voices. I love to traveling to new destinations, hiking, and being an avid food and coffee connoisseur. My favorite movies are all Disney movies. If I had to choose one to be my absolute favorite, it would have to be the ever quotable Emperor's New Groove.

Last, my favorite quote comes from one of my college mentors: "Everything we do, we do together." This quote is the motto for the Ridgeview High School Choirs, as it encourages shared growth among a team of individuals from different backgrounds. I look forward to teaching your students through the art of choral music.
