Ridgeview Swim

We are preparing ourselves for an exciting swim season in 2021! We will have quite a few returning swimmers and I know they are excited to get back into the pool to start competing again, especially after our last season in Spring of 2020 ended so unexpectedly. We are now practicing at the brand new facility that they just completed called the Kern Aquatic Center, which is only a few miles from the Ridgeview High School campus. So whether you are a veteran swimmer who has competed on a swim team before or have never swum competitively, I would encourage all interested students at Ridgeview to come out for the swim team! I saw growth in all of the swimmers I worked with last year, both inside and outside of the pool, and I look forward to helping all swimmers to meet their goals during the coming season. We will be practicing 4-5 days a week after school and competing in a variety of swimming competitions.  For those swimmers looking for an extra challenge, I will have some opportunities for you to make it on to our Varsity Team. For the 2020 season, we had a few freshman swimmers make it to Varsity. We also had a few swimmers that had never competed before and it was very rewarding to see the look on their faces after they finished a race. That was very exciting to see! Coach Jason and Coach Brandon are looking forward to working with everyone in January 2021!
